Why another blog? The short answer is sometimes you need more than 140 characters to say what’s on your mind. The long answer is I take seriously the admonition to “ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is” because, in my experience, there is wisdom to be had, but someone has to be there at the roadside to point the way. Why not me?
My office sits above a busy highway near downtown. Many a time folks have come up the off-ramp, seen me in the parking lot and asked directions. The streets in our neighborhood can be a bit tricky, so I’m glad to point the way. Now I offer the same to the Information Superhighway.
The hiking I’ve done has taught me the value of having a good map, even if it’s only a pencil sketch by someone who’s been there before. While I’ve been on the planet over half a century, I readily admit that my path may not be your path. Your mileage may vary, the paths you choose are ultimately up to you. But if you’re not sure you’re on the right path, or the path you’re on is not taking you where you want to go, feel free to stop by my little electronic kiosk for a map of where I’ve been and where I look to be going. And please buckle your seat-belt, it can sometimes be a bumpy ride.
It’s always good to have some one show the way.
